The 51st Antalya International Film Festival ended on the evening of Saturday, October 18, with the traditional awards ceremony.
Director Kutluğ Ataman’s The Lamb took the Golden Orange with awards in five categories and Erol Mintaş’s The Song of My Mother won the award fort he best first film, best actor, best supporting actor and best score at the festival, which showcased all aspects of the cinematic art for a week around the theme, From Tradition to the Future.
Stars of World cinema were present at the festival, among them Oscar-winning actress Ellen Burstyn, distinguished Iranian filmmaker Abba Kiarostami, and Palme d’OR winning directır Laurent Cantet.
